NHWORKS.org HELP Section: Welcome to the NH Works Web site, your online source for employment resources. Whether you're an employee searching for a job or an employer looking for employees this site should help you locate the information you are looking for.

For your convenience, we have divided the contents of the site into categories:

• Job Seeker- For job seekers who are looking for employment information and resources.
• Employer- For employers who are looking for recruitment and employer resources.
• Workforce Information- Information about the NH workforce and links to other resources.
• About Us- Information about the Workforce Opportunity Council, Inc. who maintains this site.
• Help- A guide to help you navigate the site and find what you are looking for.
• Text Only- Links to the text-based version of this site. Section 508 compliant.

1. Use the drop-down menus:
This is the most efficient way to navigate the site. Hold your mouse over the category you wish to browse in and a menu will appear with all of the sub categories listed. As you move the mouse down the menu, you can select a category by simply clicking on the menu item. The menus work from any page, so there's no need to use your browser's back button or to return to the home page in order to go to a new section or page- just simply use the menu!

2. Use the buttons:
If you're not comfortable using the drop-down menu, you can find a list of all of the information in a category by simply clicking on its button on the menu at the top of the page. Doing this will take you to a new page with all of the categories and pages listed. At any time if you want to browse under a different category, just click once on that category's button at the top of the page.

3. Use the site search and site map: The site search has been developed to help you find information based on your interests. For instance, if you're a job seeker, select the option "I am searching for information as a Job Seeker" and then enter the keywords you are looking for. The search will return a list of pages in the Job Seeker category that match your keyword.

The site map is a listing of all of the pages contained in this site. From the site map, you can click on any category or page and be taken to the information on that page.

Text site:
The Workforce Opportunity Council, Inc. is committed to making the information on this site accessible to all. In our effort to comply with the standards of Section 508 of the Workforce Investment Act, we have provided a text-only mirror site that contains the same information as the graphical site. When any page content is changed or updated on the graphical site, the text site also changes immediately.

The site was developed without a lot of graphics in order to help our visitors with slower modems find information quickly. However, if you prefer to view the site without the drop-down menus or without graphics, clicking on the text-only button at the top of the page or the text-only link at the foot of the page will take you to the text-based site.

Outside links:
Many of our pages contain links to other sites. These sites will open in a new browser window. To get back to the NH Works site, simply close the new browser window and you will return to the page you left.
