About The Council

Training services authorized under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) are provided through the use of Individual Training Accounts (ITA) to eligible individuals through the NH Works Centers. WIA places training resources in the hand of the consumer, through the use of ITAs. Rather than being directed to a provider of training by an agency, consumers will be able to select high quality training on their own from a list of statewide demand occupations offered by approved training providers.

LEGAL NOTICE

The Workforce Opportunity Council is accepting applications from training providers interested in becoming or remaining eligible to receive federal training funds under the Workforce Investment Act of 1998.

The application process is completely online through the NSCITE. If you are a new provider seeking approval, click on the provider login tab, choose option 2, and fill in the information. You will receive an ID and password, which will allow you to complete the online application. Your application will be processed and you will be notified by email of your approval status. Most requests for approvals are completed within 30 days. To follow up on your approval status, you may contact dphillips@nhworkforce.org.

If you are currently an approved provider, but wish to request approval for a new program, simply access the NSCITE with your user ID and password and complete the required information. You will be notified by email. Questions may be directed to dphillips@nhworkforce.org.
