The North American Free Trade Agreement - Transitional Adjustment Assistance Program enables qualified workers certified by the U.S. Department of Labor to apply for a variety of reemployment assistance once a petition has been filed. Workers must meet individual eligibility criteria for each of the services. Reemployment services have deadlines for application. Workers should apply for assistance as soon as possible following the certification of a petition.
